I Used To Be Celestial but Now I’m Lost, Perhaps…

a broken hand
painted blue
morose not even
melancholy red
a silver sea
in hopeful dreams
a heart not burst
in dragon mask

blissful eyes
a painted heart
attentive & craving
a brick thrown quick
a jam-streaked sky
turquoise & lacquer
chillingly cast
in rooms without doors

a painting falls
a broken heart
smiling not shard
teeth half white
a sleeping head
lost out in sky
a pool of blood
forever not ever

& ever & ever
forever not ever
& never not ever
forever & ever
