Largely Sung Loosely

it’s a secret that i have to tell
half-moth, half-moon, half-marsh
like a lit match in an empty house
i never know just what’s to be done

& she said to me unto pass
don’t go down, down into there
almost seas when you pass
don’t go, don’t, don’t, don’t go

a willow blown
a lit match
aware now

it’s a secret that i have to tell
i never know
i never know just what’s to be done

& she said to me while you slept
don’t dream, don’t go down there
half-moth, half-moon, half-marsh
don’t go, don’t dream, don’t go
when she said what she said unto me
don’t go where, why, no, don’t go
almost seas unto me
don’t go, don’t, don’t, don’t go
